The Yard 

The impressive stable yard comprises of 78 purpose built stables, an international sized indoor arena, two horse walkers and an equine swimming pool.

The office is also located in the stable yard.

Stable Block

We have 13 barns in total, each home to six horses.

Horses are allotted to members of staff who ride them out every morning and also take them racing.

Two members of staff share a barn.

  • Suiting all trips, winners at 6 furlongs
    and 4 miles.

Equine Pool

Purpose built equine pool with a ramp leading to a circular pool 3.5 metres deep. Equine swimming is popular with the rehabilitation and fitness of racehorses as swimming is a strenuous exercise and also is great resistance training for a sound horse.

The horses swim in both directions. It is a non weight bearing exercise which is good for horses with problematic legs. Swimming is very important to horses recovering from an injury as it enables the trainer to keep them reasonably fit without aggravating an injury.



Staff Accommodation

The staff enjoy modern and purpose built accommodation.

The 20 bedroom accommodation block includes en suite single bedrooms, communal kitchen and dining room, is fully centrally heated and is within a walking distance to the yard.
