Bamako du Chatelet wins again at Lingfield Park

Bamako du Chatelet is becoming a standing dish at Lingfield, after recording a seventh success at the Surrey track today under Fran Berry.

This was his first win over two miles, and to be fair, two furlongs out it looked unlikely.

Even with a furlong to go, Voluminous looked sure to prevail, but Fran kept pushing and his mount stayed on strongly to grab the win by a neck in the final few strides.
