Cardano wins at Ripon under Richard Kingscote

The progressive and upwardly mobile Cardano completed a double by defying top weight in the mile handicap at Ripon under Richard Kingscote.

Always well placed, he moved up to challenge two out and after hitting the front over a furlong out , he ran on strongly to beat Anna Bunina by a length and a quarter, with a yawning six lengths back to the third.

Being unraced at two, Cardano looks the sort to keep progressing this summer.
